Excellent tool, could be amazing

I love the tool so far but would love to see a better fitted leather case as an option and a future model that is geared similar to the SOG power assist feature. Looking forward to seeing new tool options in the future. Overall I love where it's at already.

Its okay. Hope there is a version 2.

Pliers are weak. I collect multi-tools and this one has a very hard time bending and cutting coathanger wire. (To be fair the Leatherman Surge does too but it cuts fine)

I really like the idea of the modular system and hope they redesign the pliers to be heavier duty and more integrated into the body than the few rivets they have now.

Great tool few flaws

My favorite edc. Few flaws like the bit driver magnet is weak for some bits. Brass awl had to be bent back so it would stay in. And wire cutters don’t cut very well. All can be fixed with some modifications. But besides all that and tool clumping I very much enjoy carrying this.

Nice concept

After a little use on this tool it’s found its way to my desk drawer. Fantastic concept and once all the bugs are worked out I think it’ll be fantastic. Wire cutters need some re work. I wish there was a way for the lock lever to stay locked in position and not come up with the rest of the tools. While I have no experience in designing or manufacturing products, I fully believe the 2.0 version whenever that comes out will be great.

Great Multitool!

This multitool is very innovative and the quality is top tier for its first iteration. A lot of pride went into the design and manufacturing of this product. The multitool itself feels very nice in the hand, great retention on the pocket clip. This tool is original and sets itself apart with the hobby knife blade, hex wrench. open ended nut driver/ large flat head combo tool and spring loaded pliers. The opening and closing of multitool is smooth. I like the standard, stock implements. The scissors are a good size and cut very nicely. The "hot swap" level makes swapping tool implements easy as. The clip point knife blade needs sharpening but can be done easily. My only minor complaint is the pocket clip is very hard to unscrew. Overall, I'm very happy with my first impressions and excited to use the GOAT multitool.
